30th Annual Big Sweep River Clean Up

September 9, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us Saturday, September 9 for the 30th annual NC Big Sweep River Clean Up!

MountainTrue is partnering with community organizations including GreenWorks, RiverLink, AmeriCorps Project Conserve and Mills River Partnership to bring as many volunteers together as possible. With support from our Riverkeeper programs on the French Broad, Watauga, Broad and Green Rivers, we plan to make this the best Big Sweep yet. Come on out to be part of the effort!

Please note that roadside clean up spots are still available, but registration for river clean ups out of the Asheville/Hendersonville area are closed.

Please see the headers below to determine which sign-up to use (and if you have any questions about the best location for you to select, please contact Jack Henderson at wqa@mountaintrue.org). Looking forward to seeing you on the water!

If you want to help clean-up the French Broad River near Asheville/Hendersonville, please sign-up using this link.

If you want to help clean-up the Watauga, Broad or Green River, please sign-up with this link.

After signing up, our team will be in touch with you closer to the date to sort out all details of gear, meeting location, etc. Let’s make this the greatest Big Sweep yet!
