Lewis Creek Preserve Hike

June 8, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Want to get involved in Hendersonville’s Pollinator Month this June? Join MountainTrue experts for this hike along a meandering creek in Edneyville, NC to observe many habitats for local wildlife and plants. During this short and easy walk (less than 1 mile) we will encounter native irises, herbs, woody plants and hear birds chirping happily along the way. Bob Gale, our Ecologist and Public Lands Director will provide expert knowledge in identifying plants we see and birds we hear, and discussing the important roles these species play in our local habitats!

Please bring snacks, water, rain jacket and closed toe shoes.
