River Cleanup and Blue Ghost Beer Release

Want to get into the river and make a difference? Want to work really hard and then enjoy a craft brew afterwards with a chance to win a chance to whitewater raft the French Broad?  This clean-up is part of our Riverkeeper Beer Series, which is a series of sponsored paddles and cleanups by local breweries and gear-builders. July is sponsored by Blue Ghost Brewing and the NOC. We want to make a big impact, so we’ll take as many hands as we can get. Come ready to get dirty and have fun, and afterwards join us at Blue Ghost Brewing for a beer tasting!

We’ll meet 10:30AM at Westfeldt River Park and carpool to the put-in (Fletcher Community Park) from there.

**Note, do not use Google Maps to get to Westfeldt Park.  As soon as you make the turn from 280 to Sierra Nevada Brewery (on Ferncliff Park Dr), take your first LEFT, and follow the driveway down to the river.*

We’ll take out at around 3 or 4PM and then head to Blue Ghost Brewing down the street for a beer tasting.
