Asheville has been named one of the country’s Top 10 River Towns by American Rivers, the nation’s leading river nonprofit, and Outside magazine.
It’s time to vote for the #1 city – and you can help Asheville win that spot and a place on the cover of Outside for its 35th anniversary issue in October!
Criteria for the finalists included quality of life and an active recreational engagement with nearby waterways — kayaking, fishing, boating, walking and bike paths, and riverfront parks — and a positive environmental story. Voting is open until July 10.
