UPDATE: 2/7/2013:

The bus is FULL. We encourage people to gather with friends and carpool!

Crippling drought. Devastating wildfires. Superstorm Sandy. Climate has come home – and the American people get it.

The first step to putting our country on the path to addressing the climate crisis is for President Obama to reject the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. His legacy as president will rest squarely on his response, resolve, and leadership in solving the climate crisis.

On Feb. 17, thousands of Americans will head to Washington, D.C. to make Forward on Climate the largest climate rally in history.

urlJoin this historic event to make your voice heard and help the president start his second term with strong climate action.

The Western North Carolina Alliance, Sierra Club, and 350.org support this action and are leading a caravan to D.C.

Buses and lodging are being arranged from Asheville  to D.C. and you can sign up via the form below. The bus will leave Asheville on Saturday morning Feb. 16 at 8 a.m. and will arrive back in downtown Asheville early Monday morning at 2 a.m.

We encourage folks to get together and carpool as well!
