At 1:30 p.m. on Oct 14, we’ll make a collective visual on Lake Julian proudly calling for Asheville to move beyond coal and toward clean, safe, homegrown energy solutions.
After the flotilla we’ll share a brew and celebrate!

Coal fired power plants contribute to air and water pollution that compromises public health, produces toxic coal ash that poisons local water supplies, and destroys mountain communities in neighboring states through mountaintop removal coal mining.
There IS a better way!
