Join us as we celebrate 10 years of BioBlitzing! Help Conserving Carolina, MountainTrue, and a cadre of expert naturalists as we explore Conserving Carolina preserves and seek to catalogue all of the lifeforms we encounter.
Citizen scientists will have the chance to learn from experts in plants, mushrooms, reptiles, amphibians, mosses, and more while enjoying one of the most beautiful landscapes in the region.
Following the BioBlitz, there food and refreshments will be provided and there will be time for participants to share their findings and experiences.
Important Reminders:
There will be a variety of hike options for this event ranging from easy to strenuous. Please leave pets at home. Kids are welcome to attend as long as accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the event.
Parking is limited at the venue so carpooling is encouraged.
