Join us as we plant live stakes to help restore stability to the Helene-impacted riverbanks along the North Pacolet River near Pearson Falls. This is a great opportunity to help restore a damaged ecosystem and gain skills in habitat restoration at the same time.  Families are encouraged to participate. You might consider attending one of the Free Stream Bank Repair Workshops MountainTrue is offering before this event as well:

February 19, in Tryon: https://mountaintrue.org/event/free-stream-bank-repair-workshop-in-tryon-nc/

February 20, in Tryon: https://mountaintrue.org/event/free-stream-bank-repair-workshop-in-tryon-nc-2/

February 21, in Saluda: https://mountaintrue.org/event/free-stream-bank-repair-workshop-in-saluda-nc/

What to bring:  Appropriate clothes for the weather forecast, waterproof shoes/boots, drinking water, snacks, and your lunch.  Gloves and tools will be provided, but if you have your own gloves, rubber mallet, and/or shovel, please feel free to bring and use them!

Attendance is limited to 20, so RSVP below for each person if registering for a family or other group. Parking spaces are limited, so carpooling is greatly appreciated!
