Join MountainTrue Southwestern Habitat Restoration Coordinator Tony Ward to learn how to identify trees in the winter at the Lake Chatuge Recreation Trail. The approx. 1-mile loop at the Lake Chatuge Trail offers a relatively flat tour along the shores of Lake Chatuge and features a wide diversity of native trees perfect for identification!
During this walk through the woods, we will discuss the different ways that you can identify trees in your area. This hike is open to all skill levels of tree identifiers!
The rain date for this event is March 25th. Please save both dates on your calendar.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the outing.
As much as we love our furry friends, pets are not permitted on this walk.
