Learn how to identify trees in the winter with Western Region Program Coordinator, Tony Ward , in Partnership with Friends of the Jackson County Greenways. The approx. 1-mile trail at the Jackson Greenway offers a relatively flat tour along the Tuckaseegee River and features a wide diversity of native trees perfect for identification! During this walk through the woods, we will discuss the different ways that you can identify trees in your area. This hike is open to all skill levels of tree identifiers!
