Natalie Weaver

Natalie grew up in Denton, Texas and earned her Accounting degree from the University of North Texas. After more than three decades in Texas, she and her husband, Ben, packed up in 2016 for cooler weather, mountain views, and endless outdoor adventures. Western North Carolina immediately felt like home, and she happily lives in the peaceful countryside on the Buncombe-Madison County line. With over 15 years of accounting experience across nonprofit and for‑profit sectors, Natalie brings a love of clarity, transparency, and financial stewardship to her work. She has admired MountainTrue’s impact for years and is thrilled to support the mission from behind the scenes. When she’s not deep in spreadsheets, Natalie is probably outside- camping, canoeing, hiking, reading, or sunbathing with one of her kitty kids. She loves live music, event planning, and anything themed (if costumes are involved, she’s into it!). She’s also leaning into later‑in‑life learning: crafting, puzzling, and line dancing. Proudly known as the “Mary Poppins” of her friend group, she’s always prepared for anything. Nature is her therapy, animals are her love language, and she’s happiest with a good book and a cat in her lap.
