The Creation Care Alliance of Western North Carolina (CCAWNC, formerly WNC Green Congregations) is MountainTrue’s faith-based program. This program brings people of all faith traditions together across the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains to care for our planet and our neighbors.
Through education, service, and advocacy, CCAWNC empowers congregations and people of faith to live out their spiritual call to love creation and seek ecological justice.
Grounded in love and fueled by hope, the Creation Care Alliance has built a growing network of congregations and faith leaders who are putting their values into action — from prayer vigils and community forums to hands-on service projects and advocacy for systemic change.
Now, we need to take our efforts to a new and even more effective level and are seeking partners and supporters to invest in this good work so that we can build even more creative and effective events and programs in the coming years.
