With support from the State of North Carolina, MountainTrue is offering free, supervised river cleanup services for landowners like you.
We Clean Up: Litter, trash, tires, and smaller man-made debris that can be removed by hand by our crews.
We Don’t Clean Up: Trees, logs, natural vegetation, or large objects that require heavy equipment to move.
Cleanup is funded by the state.

Our crews have already cleared out thousands of tons of debris.
We work on creeks, streams, and rivers — especially in hard-to-access areas where federal programs like FEMA can’t reach.
