Join MountainTrue as we take part in Explore Asheville’s Earth Day clean-up. This event is hosted by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, with support from Asheville GreenWorksMountainTrue, and RiverLink.

Whether you’re just visiting or call Asheville home, this is a great chance to give back while connecting with our community. Local businesses are encouraged to recruit two to three staff members to represent their organization, and all attendees are required to register through the Eventbrite link.

Participants can choose the area of town they wish to clean up; each neighborhood will have a host venue for a pre and post-cleanup meetup (meet up and host locations to be assigned closer to the event).

Cleanup areas include:

  • Biltmore Village
  • West Asheville
  • River Arts District
  • Swannanoa River (exact location TBD based on debris needs closer to event)

**MountainTrue will be leading the Biltmore Village and Swannanoa River clean-up efforts**

The program will include welcome remarks and instructions, an approximately 1.5 hour clean-up, and a post-clean up social with local beverages and light bites.
