Thank Asheville City Council for Voting to Bring More Housing Options to Asheville

Duplex Image 2

In case you missed it: on August 25th, the Asheville City Council voted unanimously to end single-family zoning and bring more housing options to our city!

By allowing for larger accessory dwelling units and duplexes in all residential districts, we are one step closer to a more walkable, sustainable Asheville. Use the form below to thank our City Council members for their vote.

With these changes to our zoning code, Asheville can better build up and within city limits, reducing the negative impacts of sprawl while developing tighter-knit communities in the process. Duplexes and ADUs are more affordable options, and they will help us meet the challenge of the housing shortage in our city.

Send an email using our form below and thank our City Council members for expanding housing options.
