Invasive Plant removal workday near Robbinsville, NC

Join Mountaintrue for a volunteer workday to remove nonnative invasive plants at the site of the future downtown greenway trail in Robbinsville. We will primarily be pulling up roots and using hand tools to remove invasive plants like Chinese privet, bittersweet, and kudzu. We have large and small tasks available, so you don’t need to be able to do strenuous physical labor in order to participate. No prior experience is necessary; we will provide tools and training.

Rain Date: January 16, 2027. Please save both days on your calendar.

All volunteers are eligible to receive a complimentary annual membership to MountainTrue. To activate yours, please email members@mountaintrue.org
