Check out Critters that Live in Our Rivers and Streams on the Jackson County Greenway in Cullowhee, NC 7/18

Are you interested in learning more about the variety of life that lives within our streams? If so, please stop by on Saturday, July 18th from 12pm-1pm for a pop-up event on the Jackson County Greenway! No registration required.

Hiding under rocks and in the leaves of our rivers are aquatic macroinvertebrates. (Organisms big enough to see with the naked eye that lack a spine). Join us to learn more about these creatures, what they tell us about water quality and get a chance to look at them up close!

There is no time requirement for joining this pop-up event, instead come and go as you please!
