Community Snorkel Adventure in the Watauga River in Sugar Grove, NC 8/29

Mark your calendars and get underwater with us this August! As we say goodbye to Summer, join your Riverkeeper crew for a guided Watauga River snorkel near Sugar Grove, NC! This event is hosted by MountainTrue in partnership with North Carolina Wildlife Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter.

Get up close + personal with many native fish species (like our favorite tangerine darter) and use view buckets to see under the water’s surface to observe your favorite local river critters 🐟

Please indicate on the sign-up form if you need to borrow a wetsuit. Wetsuits are not available in youth sizes.
