For 25 years, the Roadless Rule has protected 152,000 acres of our beloved Nantahala and Pisgah National Forests from logging and road construction. Now, that protection is under threat.
The Forest Service is proposing to rescind these rules, but they aren’t holding public meetings. So, we’re hosting our own hearings.
Join us at this public hearing of conservation organizations, forest advocates and the general public where we will share information and resources about the Roadless Rule.
Organizers will help attendees submit comments about the proposal to the U.S. Forest Service, if they wish.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
