Project summary:
ADC is recruiting a volunteer design team to support the development of a community-driven design plan for Brad Ragan Park in Spruce Pine, NC. Following Hurricane Helene, the Town is exploring opportunities to rehabilitate damaged facilities, improve aging infrastructure, and rethink underused areas of the park as part of a broader vision for the property’s future.

This project will focus on community engagement and concept-level design to help guide future improvements to the park, including recreation spaces, gathering areas, and other community-serving uses. The effort will build on prior public input and ongoing local planning discussions.

This is an opportunity to apply your skills to a design project that connects recovery, recreation, and long-term community investment in Spruce Pine.
