PROJECT: SafeShelter / ATHENA Feasibility Site Study – West Asheville

Project Summary: ADC is recruiting volunteer design professionals to help develop a feasibility site study and conceptual sketch for a privately owned 4.5-acre property being made available to SafeShelter for its ATHENA tiny home workforce training program.

Volunteers will help assess the site’s constraints, opportunities, and potential capacity to inform decisions about unit count, housing mix, phasing, and next steps. The team will also develop a conceptual site sketch that SafeShelter can use to communicate its vision and support upcoming grant applications.
