Bakersville Downtown Beautification + Facade Improvement Project

PROJECT: Bakersville Downtown Beautification + Facade Improvement Project

Project Summary: ADC is recruiting volunteer design professionals to help shape design recommendations for a funded downtown beautification and facade improvement program in Bakersville. Supported by the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, the program will help advance visible, near-term exterior improvements that contribute to the town’s ongoing economic recovery.

Improvements may include facade repairs, paint, signage, awnings, lighting, accessibility-related features, landscaping, and small-scale streetscape enhancements.

Volunteer team members will help create a practical menu of improvement options, visual examples, and design recommendations that the Bakersville Beautification Association can share with property and business owners to guide proposed improvements and support consistent program administration.work.
