PROJECT: Andrews Streetscape Ideas & Downtown Revitalization Project

Project Summary: ADC is recruiting volunteer design professionals to develop visual strategies for facades, gateways, and streetscapes along 2nd Street in Andrews, NC. This initiative assists the Town with preparations for the NCDOT 2027 repaving schedule and bolsters local economic recovery initiatives.

This initiative offers a critical window to influence the streetscape in coordination with the upcoming repaving. ADC is enlisting professionals to create visual concepts for 2nd Street and its primary entrances, focusing on facade enhancements and landscape integration. These designs will serve as a foundation for public dialogue and future funding requests, ensuring the Town is positioned for successful execution. Furthermore, this work complements the ongoing Department of Commerce economic strategy and will leverage the Andrews Vision Group to facilitate essential community feedback.
