Volunteer for the Wicked Spooky 5k in Asheville, NC and earn funds for MountainTrue!

Looking for a way to lend a hand that’s maybe not as physically demanding? Volunteer on behalf of MountainTrue at the Wicked Spooky 5k and help raise money for our work. MountainTrue is the nonprofit beneficiary for this race and, in exchange for providing volunteers, we earn a % of every registered runner.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Course Marshals – 8:30AM – 10:15AM – 16 spots. MUST be 16 and older. You will be directing runners at intersections and halting traffic as needed. Will pick up safety gear at the Funkatorium the morning of the race.

Water Stop/Aid Stations – 8:45AM – 10AM. Up to 6 spots. Kids with adult supervision allowed. You will be pouring and handing out water to runners as they pass by. Will meet at the aid station location emailed to you.

Food & Medal Crew – 9AM-10:15AM. 2 needed. Help us put out the post race food and hand medals to runners as they cross the finish line! Kids with adult supervision allowed. Will meet at the race start/finish on Coxe Avenue.
