Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina (FCNC) is taking their documentary film “A Dream for the Future” on the road, and our next stop is the Don Gibson Theatre in Shelby, NC!

Join us for a special screening & panel discussion in partnership with MountainTrue and the Broad Riverkeeper as we bring this story of conservation, community, and collaboration to new audiences across the region. This film celebrates the shared commitment that unites our organizations and supports the protection of Western North Carolina’s precious land and water.

We hope you will join us for this special evening!

July 16 Run of Show/Timeline:

FCNC will provide a complimentary drink ticket to all attendees for them to redeem at the bar. If people want to purchase an additional beverage, they can at a discounted rate of $3 for wine & beer. FCNC Staff will set up an area for small bites/hors d’oeuvres.

5:00 – 5:55 – Doors open. Bar Opens. Networking & socializing before film screening.
6:00 – 6:05 – Welcome & Introductions
6:05 – 6:30- Film Screening
6:30 – 7:00 – Q&A Begins w/ Panel (Andrew Kota, Tom Kenney, David Caldwell, and Michelle Garey)
