Virtual Green Drinks – August

On Thursday, August 13th, Virtual Hendersonville Green Drinks welcomes Tony Dunn, a former USFS Fire Behavior Analyst and a Camp Fire survivor. Tony Dunn will outline how climate change contributed to the fire and how climate-driven disasters like the Camp Fire disproportionately impact vulnerable communities and their ability to recover. Tony Dunn is a former firefighter, fire ecologist, fire behavior analyst and endangered species botanist with the US Forest Service in California. Tony and his wife lost their home in the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, CA and relocated to North Carolina in July 2019.
