MountainTrue Invasive Plant Removal at Hominy Creek Greenway in Asheville, NC 4/5

Join MountainTrue and Friends of Hominy Creek Greenway for an afternoon of removing non-native invasive plants! We’ll meet at noon at the Hominy Creek Greenway parking area, distribute supplies, then walk together to our work site.
MountainTrue has work gloves available for those who do not have their own. Please bring plenty of water, any snacks you may want, and sunscreen/bug spray. Remember to wear pants and closed-toe shoes – a long-sleeved shirt may be more comfortable as well.
The RAIN DATE for this event is April 12th. Please save both dates on your calendar.
Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This event requires walking and semi-strenuous hand-pulling of invasive plant species.
