23rd Annual Green River Race

Come out to the Narrows section of the Green River to watch the 23rd annual Green River – the most competitive and challenging whitewater paddling race in the country.

Festivities kick off with a Pre-Race Party at the Salvage Station in Asheville on Thursday, November 1st from 6 PM until ($10 at door). The Green Race starts at noon on Saturday, November 3rd, but make sure to account for time to park and hike into the Narrows, and note that the hike down to the race is very steep.

The race will be followed by the Green Race Festival located at Green River Paradise (3851 GREEN RIVER COVE ROAD, SALUDA, NC 28773) starting at 5 PM.
