Broad River Summer Sweep near Boiling Springs, NC 8/10

Join the Broad Riverkeeper for a clean-up of the Broad River on one of the most popular and scenic sections, Lake Houser to Broad River Greenway, about 5 miles of river with some small class I-II rapids.

Please bring:  your boat, paddle, lifejacket, water, lunch, sunscreen, sturdy water shoes or sneakers (no flip-flops), gloves and trash bags, towel, and a dry change of clothes.

We may have a few boats available to borrow. Please email david@mountaintrue.org to check availability.

Due to the rapids on this stretch of the river, participants must be 18 and over and comfortable paddling to participate.

The RAIN DATE for this event is August 17th. Please reserve both dates on your calendar.
