Coal Ash Hearings for Cliffside (Rogers Energy Complex)

Coal ash dumpsites at Cliffside power plant (Rogers Energy Complex) have been dumping toxic pollution to ground and surface waters for years. However, N.C.’s Department of Environmental Quality(DEQ) is currently not requiring Duke Energy to clean up Cliffside.
Attend one of the two hearings in both affected counties and tell DEQ that these sites need to be cleaned up! Both are on March 14, at 6 pm.
Rutherford County hearing: Isothermal Community College Auditorium 286 ICC Loop Rd. Spindale, NC
Cleveland County hearing: Boiling Springs Town Hall, 114 E. College Av. Boiling Springs NC
