December 8: Hendersonville Green Drinks: Green Gifting for the Holidays
Hendersonville, N.C. — On Thursday, December 8, Hendersonville Green Drinks welcomes featured speakers Adrienne Brown with Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy and Christine Brown with Asheville GreenWorks. The will be discussing “Green Gifting” — sustainable, environmentally friendly gift ideas for the holidays.
Adrienne Brown studied Environmental Studies and German at Dickinson College. She has been working in the Outreach sector of non-profits for nearly three years now. Currently she is serving a term with AmeriCorps Project Conserve at Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy doing Community Outreach and Environmental Education.
Christine Brown graduated Magna Cum Lauda from Auburn University with a degree in Environmental Science. She is currently an environmental educator at Asheville GreenWorks where she enjoys teaching the next generation about urban forestry, water quality and waste reduction through recycling and composting.
