Mold Matters: Health & Home Safety After Helene

This community learning session invites organizations, residents and neighborhood leaders to learn about the health risks associated with mold after flooding, how to conduct inspections, and both self-mitigation and professional remediation processes. Our experts will guide participants through essential mold mitigation practices to help ensure a safer, healthier community. Information on accessing mold kits will also be provided to assist with ongoing monitoring and prevention.
Presented by Thrive Asheville in partnership with the Commercial Building Alliance of Asheville, Land of Sky Regional Council, Hood Huggers, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, and MountainTrue with expert insights from Green Home Solutions.
When: 11am-12:30pm, Monday, November 25th
Where: Land of the Sky Association of Realtors (Both online and virtual options will be offered).
