MountainTrue Invasive Plant Removal Workday at Doublehead Knob near Asheville, NC 10/5
Join MountainTrue for a workday! Participants on this workday will hike to scenic Doublehead Knob and remove invasive plants from a rare glade ecosystem. The hike is moderately strenuous and four miles round-trip.
Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and anything else you need to be safe and comfortable.
The event will be cancelled in the event of rain.
This hike is not recommended for children under the age of 12 and please no pets.
