MountainTrue/NOC River Cleanup

On May 15, MountainTrue and the NOC are partnering for a river clean-up right in the heart of Avl-town! Our goal is to fill 9 NOC rafts full of all the trash we can get out of the river. High fives for most trash removed by boat. Double high-fives for most tires removed. We’ll meet at Jean Webb River Park, and the NOC will shuttle us in their buses to Hominy Creek Park, where we’ll put in. Bring your water bottle, a lunch, and some sunscreen, and we’ll provide the rest. Wear clothes you don’t care about getting dirty and wet.
Location: Jean Webb River Park
Time: 11AM – 3 or 4PM
Bring: lunch, sunscreen, water bottle, work gloves

From Downtown Asheville:
Get on I240W
Exit 4C for Haywood St./Montford Ave.
Left on Hill St.
Left onto Riverside Dr.
Destination will be about 3/4 of a mile down on the right (under a bridge)
