In the wake of Hurricane Helene, MountainTrue is dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of our community.
Come on out to join us for a work day to remove Japanese Stiltgrass from a wetland forest near the North Carolina Arboretum! Japanese Stiltgrass is a widespread invasive species in the Western North Carolina region, and it doesn’t spread its seeds until late September or early October. Help us remove as many of the invasive plants as possible on Monday, September 26 from 9am-1pm before they spread seeds and become even more widespread!
