Volunteer to Build a New Campsite on the French Broad Paddle Trail

Come help us add a new campsite to the French Broad Paddle Trail! We’re looking to class up the French Broad with a new campsite at the FB’s confluence with Mud Creek. We’ll need help mowing grass, weed-eating, back-hoe driving, outhouse, stair, and picnic table building, as well as invasive species removal. Please RSVP here to let us know you’re coming!
Bring/Wear:
- closed-toed shoes
- water
- rain gear
- loppers, pruners, work gloves (We’ve got a few of these, but if you’ve got some, it’d be helpful to bring them)
- lunch
We’ll meet at Westfeldt Park and caravan from there to the campsite. Please RSVP here to let us know you’re coming!
