Price Lake Float

Interested in meeting fellow environmental enthusiasts? Come paddle on Price Lake with the Watauga Riverkeeper and the water team staff. This event will be BYOB (bring your own boat!) but the kayak and canoe rentals are available on-site at Price Lake. This is one of our most pristine Swim Guide sites, with gorgeous mountain views located on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Pints for a Purpose

Come out to Hi-Wire Brewing and enjoy a beer while learning about our Solarize program and support your neighbors! Hi-Wire Brewing will donate $1 from each pour of their Flagship pints during Neighbor to Neighbor Solar. Proceeds will help make no-cost or reduced-cost solar available for households making less than the area medium income.

As a member of the Neighbor to Neighbor Solar coalition, MountainTrue helps play an important role in the Solarize Asheville-Buncombe County Campaign. Using solar energy can greatly reduce the electricity burden for low-income families while simultaneously freeing up funds for other critical family support needs. Combined with the Solarize Asheville-Buncombe group discount pricing, we can further reduce the cost of solar and help make your donation go even further!
