This summer, we invite you to join MountainTrue's Creation Care Alliance Program in reading This Here Flesh: Spirituality, Liberation, and the Stories that Make Us by the founder of Black Liturgies, Cole Arthur Riley. We will read at our own pace, taking time with each chapter and idea. On Thursday, August 15th, we will gather virtually via Zoom to discuss our learnings, questions, and how this book influenced us--as well as spend some quality time together. |

Join our High Country Water Team in exploring aquatic wildlife in the Watauga River. We will get up close and personal with many native fish species, such as the tangerine darter. Using view buckets, we can see under the water’s surface and observe the life teeming below.
