On Thursday, January 12, Hendersonville Green Drinks welcomes featured speaker Ned Ryan Doyle, long time solar and sustainable community advocate, former coordinator of the Southern Energy & Environment Expo and host of 'Our Southern Community' radio, to speak on upcoming trends relating to solar and clean energy for WNC. Ned is currently the co-chair of the Technology Working Group of the WNC Energy Innovation Task Force.

MountainTrue needs your help to Save our Ashes! The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is spreading rapidly across our region, destroying ash trees in their wake! We are helping the Forest Service to save some of our precious ashes in the region.

We are helping to reduce the amount of sediment that flows into our rivers by planting live-stakes along eroding riverbanks. We'll be planting all through March, so come out to one or more of our Paddle-n-Plant work days!
