We will hike four miles round trip to eradicate an early infestation of garlic mustard and enjoy the sights and sounds of spring along the way. The hike is moderately strenuous.
Join MountainTrue and the Tuckaseegee River Alliance at another Island Park Invasive Species Workday! We will again primarily be using hand tools to cut invasive shrubs like Chinese privet and then treat the stumps. No prior experience is necessary; we will provide tools and training. All you have to bring is water and energy!
