In the wake of Hurricane Helene, MountainTrue is dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of our community.
For the fourth consecutive year, MountainTrue is again hosting Monday afternoon volunteer workdays (weather permitting) to control nonnative invasive plants and restore native habitat along the Murphy River Walk & Canoe Trail!
Come plant with us at one of our live staking work days in February! Live staking is the process of planting live cuttings of dormant trees in the riparian buffer zone along the stream bank which helps filter storm water runoff, protect vital aquatic habitat, and prevent soil erosion and sediment pollution.
