Beech Mountain’s Passport to Adventure Stream Ecology Hike

Free to the public! Take a walk with MountainTrue’s Watauga Riverkeeper staff and learn about stream ecology on the mountain. This will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the wildlife around us through the lens of science and advocacy. A huge thank you to Beech Mountain Parks & Recreation for hosting Watauga Riverkeeper as a guest speaker in their summer outdoor series called “Beech Mountain’s Passport to Adventure”.

This hike is not strenuous but expect to get wet and wear the appropriate clothing! Bring a water bottle, snack, any safety equipment they may need (ie. walking stick).
