Forest Plan Info Session: Invasive Species

June 2, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

There are various plants, insects, and other invasive species that threaten the biodiversity and overall resilience of our forests. On June 2, MountainTrue will host a webinar during which Bob Gale, MountainTrue’s Public Lands Director and Ecologist, will look more closely at how the draft management plan for the Nantahala-Pisgah National Forests proposes to address and manage invasive species. Register to receive access to the webinar. Those who register before Monday 6/1 will receive Bob’s presentation slides in advance and have the opportunity to submit questions before the presentation. We will also have about 15 minutes for live Q&A at the end of the presentation.

This event is a Zoom Webinar, which is a little different from a regular Zoom meeting. When you join the event, you will be muted and your video will be turned off. You’ll only be able to see the speakers and moderator, though you will be able to submit typed questions through the Q&A panel.
