Guided River Snorkel near Boone, NC 7/29

Join our High Country Water Team in exploring aquatic wildlife in the Watauga River. We will get up close and personal with many native fish species, such as the tangerine darter. Using view buckets, we can see under the water’s surface and observe the life teeming below. This is a great opportunity to learn about aquatic ecosystems, and what makes the Watauga River truly unique. Our staff will provide viewbuckets, identification books, and a wealth of knowledge of the region.
Important: *Option to rent a wetsuit and snorkel for a fully immersive experience at an additional cost*. If you would like to rent a wetsuit and snorkel gear, be sure to purchase both a ticket ($10-$30) and the additional ticket for rental gear ($20). Please also indicate what size wetsuit you will need based on the sizing chart linked here.
