In the wake of Hurricane Helene, MountainTrue is dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of our community.
On Thursday, August 10, Hendersonville Green Drinks welcomes Chuck Breckheimer, a chemistry teacher of more than 32 years and member of MountainTrue and Conserving Carolina (formerly CMLC). He will speak on the lifecycle of plastic bags, their effect on our environment, and how our choices can reduce the number of bags that end up in our rivers and streams, and tangled in trees. Chuck hopes that this information will lead to changes in the way we use plastic bags.
