"Come join the call to the wild as we gather to explore Beech Mountain. Geared toward local ecology, the rally will feature hikes, talks & programs all day on Beech Mountain. Join for the adventure, stay for the passion!"

Our High Country Clean Water staff will lead a talk at 10 am about "Riverkeeping 101," covering everything from pollution investigation, sampling programs, debris removal, dam removal, and more! Programs will be ongoing from 9 am-6 pm throughout the day so come join us!

We are so excited to have an information table again this year at Boonerang... a FREE music & arts festival in Downtown Boone! Come visit our Clean Water team and learn what we have been up to this year on and off the river. Hear how you can support our work and help protect the places we share!
We will also have new MountainTrue merch and stickers available. 

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 6 PM, Appalachian Mountain Brewery will host a WATKINS GLEN SUMMER JAM TRIBUTE CONCERT: The music of THE BAND, ALLMAN BROS, and GRATEFUL DEAD performed by members of The Dead of Winter, Soul Benefactor, dB's Foscoe Four, and MORE... Come raise a glass and show your support for MountainTrue and your Watauga Riverkeepers' Hurricane recovery efforts.
