Bryson City Island Park Workday 2/7
MountainTrue is hosting another Island Park Invasive Species Workday to control nonnative invasive plants and restore native habitat in Bryson City Island Park. We will primarily be using hand tools to cut invasive shrubs like Chinese privet and then treat the stumps.

High Country Live Staking Workday 2/18/2023
The Valle Crucis Community Park 2892 Broadstone Road, Valle Crucis, NC, United StatesCome plant with us at one of our live staking work days in February! Live staking is the process of planting live cuttings of dormant trees in the riparian buffer zone along the stream bank which helps filter storm water runoff, protect vital aquatic habitat, and prevent soil erosion and sediment pollution.

These are workdays to assist with cleanout and inventory of trash types and brands found within the Trash Trout's. This will be a 2 hour workday in Winkler's Creek.
