  • Oklawaha Greenway Native Plant Garden Dedication

The Friends of the Oklawaha Greenway will host a dedication ceremony honoring Wes Burlingame, a local nurseryman who recently passed away. On April 9th at 10:00 am, at the greenway’s red kiosk, a native plant garden established in his honor will be dedicated. Much of Wes’ career was spent spreading the word about the value of using natives in the home landscape.
