    Join Mountaintrue for a volunteer workday to remove nonnative invasive plants along the Pinnacle Park trail system, in Partnership with the Town of Sylva and Mainspring. We will primarily be pulling up roots and using hand tools to remove invasive plants like Chinese privet, burning bush, and multiflora rose.

    This is the pick up event for plants that are pre-ordered and paid for through our western region Fall Native Tree & Shrub Sale fundraiser. The plants are delivered by the nurseries to the MountainTrue Western Regional Office parking lot on the morning of the event, so no early pick-up is available. We will not be ready to fill orders until 3:00 pm sharp! If you arrive early, please find a parking place. Do not form a line in your cars that will quickly prevent others from entering the parking lot.

Please note this will be a land-based clean-up. All volunteers are invited for FREE food after the clean-up, sponsored by Oak & Grist.
