In the wake of Hurricane Helene, MountainTrue is dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of our community.
Can’t make it to our in-person event on June 10th? Don’t fret! The BioBlitz will continue virtually until June 25th so you can find and document species on your own schedule. If you are interested in participating in the BioBlitz event virtually from June 11th to June 25th, please register online here.
Calling all hikers, bikers and paddlers! Raise money for MountainTrue while doing your favorite activities this Summer. Participants of any experience level collect pledges from family and friends for miles completed between June 15 and August 31st.
MountainTrue Ecologist and Public Lands Director, Bob Gale, is retiring after 25 years! Join us as we share stories, cake and raise a glass to his hard work and accomplishments. We will be in the courtyard of the Wedge at the Foundation from 4:30- 6:30 pm with the Cloud Room reserved in the case of rain. Let's shower Bob with the same love he has bestowed upon his community! We hope to see you there.
Come join the river cleanup hosts MountainTrue and Wicked Weed on June 17 from 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. as we clean up the French Broad River. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and clothes you don't mind getting wet and dirty. This section of the French Broad is flatwater and suitable for all paddlers.
